History of ilcsi in Hungary
Ilcsi Organic Skincare has been formulated and developed since 1958 to bring simple, natural, yet potent problem-solving and beautifying skin solutions to many.
Ilona Molnar or ‘Ilcsi' as she's affectionately known, is the genius behind Ilcsi's unique skin care range. Now a grand dame of 81 she's spent her life devoted to one pursuit – the pursuit of beautiful skin.
Growing up by learning all the natural methods used for every health and beauty problem has inspired Aunt Ilcsi back in the 1950s to create and develop her very effective and versatile products rich in fruits and plants. Aunt Ilcsi begun her career in 1958 as a beauty therapist and as her natural cosmetic mixtures were very effective, they became popular within the therapist circles in Budapest; Ilcsi ‘neni’ was eventually mixing for the best beauty salons in Hungary.
Ilcsi’s philosophy is based on simplicity combined with natural ingredients for long-term results. When communist controls faded, individuals were able to establish private companies. Aunt Ilcsi and her son, Ferenc Molnar, founded Ilcsi Beautifying Herbs Ltd in 1984. Aunt Ilcsi has also earned international accolades and she has been a regular speaker at International aesthetic congresses including several CIDESCO world congresses.
Aunt Ilcsi, now grand dame of 81, still plays an important role in education, product development and in the search for more solutions. Aunt Ilcsi was honoured in 1990 by the Hungarian government with the Small Cross Order of Merit for her achivement for the usage of herbs in the cosmetic industry and for her work as one of the leading businesswomen of Hungary.
In recent years, the Ilcsi brand was officially chosen to be a member of the international 'Superbrands' club and Ilcsi also obtained the ISO 9001:2001 certification.

Ilcsi offers a full range of customised professional spa and retail products, from refreshing and rejuvenating organic masks filled with real delicious goodies such as cherries and rose petals to vitamin concentrated handmade whip moisturisers and balsams which address a variety of concerns such as premature ageing, sun damage, acne, loss of vitality, tone and radiance.
